System 229.F

The high performance tooling system 229 was chosen to be used for the external applications on the aluminum wheels.
Important during the design stage was to guarantee that the insert remains in the toolholder pocket also using the system on a reverse cutting process.
The basic parameters at the customer define if PCD tipped or carbide inserts are used for the roughing and the finishing process.

Requirements:
- No open surface structure after machining
